‘Sweet Chariot’ is a proven parent that has sired a number of interesting roses. It might be interesting to cross it back to its parent ‘Violette’ to see what a second dose of ‘Violette’ does.
Roses that have ‘Sweet Chariot’ in them may be another option, including Tom Carruth’s ‘Midnight Blue’, ‘Ebb Tide’, ‘Night Owl’, ‘Route 66’, and ‘Wild Blue Yonder’.
