My favorite striped seedling has this…I never saw this on any seedling. What is the issue? I really do not want to toss this in the bin.

Possibly Rose Sawfly larvae damage. Look for tiny greenish “worms” on underside of leaves.
Thanks!! After a long search I found this picture withe the same issue. Tomorrow morning I go straight to the seedling and look. I really hope this will be the only issue🙏
I hope it is sawfly, however my experience is their damage doesn’t resemble your initial photo.
My guess is Cercospora, not Sawfly.
