Someone should amend the HMF listing with your description. 
Thank you for sharing the description of Legacy’s growth habit, hips, foliage and disease resistance. It sounds like a wonderful rose that is most definitely worth working with. I’ve been thinking about crossing her with Rugelda and a couple other ruogsa hybrids mentioned before and even if there is no repeat bloom in F1 it is worth the exploration of her genes.
I enjoy the stories you have to tell regarding Ralph Moore and what sound like fond memories. Thank you.

I am a HUGE fan of Illusion and believe that she has yet much to offer as a parent. I love your (Illusion x George Vancouver) x Basye’s Amphidiploid cross…it is a brilliant cross as you say. I can’t wait to hear what the first bloom looks like. The genes in that cross have so much potential. Good luck with that one!
