Repeat/Remontant Lessons Learned vs Growing Climate Conditions?

I must of missed something in the early days in my learnings about once bloomers/ remontant characteristics with climate changes.

Right now lots of bloom silence in garden except for a number of unusual cases for me.

The rose of note for me this morning is Erskine’s Prairie Peace at 7 am … point is got now even less gripes about supposed “once” bloomer this year if they keep doing this (not the one or two blooms after spring grand bloom).

Also this morning a photo of Simonet’s Dr FL Skinner’s “once” bloomer in my mind from early days. A second strong flush of grand bloom form and bloom size … been silent for blooms for 4 or 5 years. What a year for it.

Must be the climate. New growth from existing cane with new bloom

Photos poor due to shooting to the east with sunrise.

If this high density second bloom cycle is due to climate change l can see one positive out if big negative for rose growers.
