This recurrent blooming rose, with beautiful flowers and a good scent, comes from a cross (L83 x Pikkalan Kaunotar) x Above and Beyond. This will be followed up to see how it performs here in Northern Finland.

I agree. I love the A&B rose, even though it never grows big here in Northern Finland because it always dies back above the snow line and sometimes below. So I try to cross it with hardy varieties here and produce offspring that show the best qualities of the A&B combined with good winter hardiness. This offspring in the picture will have to be observed for years and hope that it is the jackpot.
