Forms of Iceberg

I am curious about the differences between offspring of Iceberg and its climbing sport? Do they tend to follow the growth-pattern of the parent (shrub or climber), and is precocious flowering common in both populations, or…?
It’s fairly well-established in this forum that colour-sports tend to breed as the original form, but climbing sports of various well-known varieties have been used occasionally, and that got me thinking about plant architecture in general.
And while I have your attention, being that Iceberg is Triploid (if I recall correctly), what are its open-pollinated offspring likeliest to be; selfings, or crosses? And if crosses, are diploid or tetraploid pollens more likely to produce seed?
Thanks.
