F3 Hybrid Rosa Virginiana Seedlings

So far I am happy with the colour combinations and bloom structures at the moment, this is only a small indication of what I may given by the crosses.
The first seedling is a Queen Elizabeth X K14 L38 (TYPE 1 YELLOW FORM) petal colours seem to be bicoloured, pink upper/pale yellow reverse.
The second seedling is another Disco Lemonade X K1 L47 (F2 Virginiana Hybrid.

Thanks for these bloom photos. Well done. These hybrids deserve a temperate climate for further work.

So many nice seedlings Warren.

Thanks Don And Rob.
I have been amazed on the Kaleidoscope of colour instead of default code pink. Its like R. davidii, its colour has developed some very hot pink colour tones in the new seedlings. That’s the beauty working with species, they can contribute multiple traits to the day to day garden rose. Don most will end up in Europe sooner or later.

Nice form. You’re really coming up with some great hybrids Warren.

Thanks Rob, just think out side the square for possibilities. I don’t know if people remembered when I said I found F2 virginiana Hybrids receptive to diploid pollen and as a pollinator for diploids.
