Was believed to be Skinner’s Mossman.
No picture similarity to my eyes (no moss visible and should be heavy moss). Very hardy in Zone 4A winter in south facing exposure. Not protected. Heavy OGR fragrance. Not Indian Head imo.

Do you know if it’s once-blooming or repeat-blooming?
Speculation on my part, as only two summers in garden, its once blooming.
Madame Roche Lambert - once blooming moss - is planted beside it, and not real hardy in my zone. Md R-L, is nicely mossed.
I can get from the unknown rose the classic resin fragrance when by running fingers near bloom. But not a good diagnostic to me, only for added confirming evidence, as it seems lots of roses will share the resin trait.
Why do you think it couldn’t be “Indian Head”? It really does resemble that more than anything else that I can think of. It looks like it could be of rugosa-Centifolia (or similar European OGR) hybrid derivation.

It could be in the end. It is a very strong cultivar donated to me as Skinner’s Mossman to move the moss goal post closer to my header range for scoring a new Canadian bred moss. Succeeded l believe this year … but via the European moss - Canadian rugosa route.
It seems to differ from other IHds l ve tried in that maturing bloom was not as flat - more cupped. And the adult bush was definitely hardier - don’t recall pruning any winter dead wood this spring. Beaut of a fragrance.
Have to note if produces hips as cant recall finding any when crossed the first one years ago.
