Can’t offer help on how to import plant material (other than the fact that rogue valley roses says they do ship here, though I assume there’s paperwork to be done on our end aside from the phitosanitary certificate they provide…), but! we might share plants in our collection the other does not have already. I’m not sure if there is a way to private message here, I wouldn’t want to clog the forum feed with our collective exhasperation of the lack of rose culture here and our (comparatively to everyone else here with so many resources) lame collection lists lol.

I saw this particular post of yours (about your Oakington Ruby rose seeds), and I was wondering how much you’d charge to send something like that to me (if you still have them available/if you’re still willing to do so)! I am located in Georgia (is there any documentation required to send seeds to another person in the US, or is just people in Mexico/other countries?) @Aquin15 The seeds currently left over from last season (still on the plant) have been frozen several times over the winter, so they are not likely viable. You’ll have to ask me about this in October. I’m willing to harvest and send seeds as long as it’s within the USA, and no — there is no permitting required for seeds send within the USA.
The seed cultivar labeled rosa chinensis ‘Angel Wings’ might be worth exploring. There are some international shippers too. Seems to be unique in that it’s a genuine cultivar being sold primarily by seed. I ordered some about a month ago just out of curiosity. I think it’s some dwarf cultivar with multiflora/polyantha genetics, but I didn’t do much research beyond verifying it wasn’t a scam.

@Aquin15 There is a seed company in the UK that ships to the USA that lists Rosa Chinensis ‘Angel Wings’. Pricy with the currency conversion but may be what you’re looking for. I’ve ordered from this store recently for a couple species rose seeds and everything arrived fine but I didn’t order in time to germinate the seeds this year. So I can’t vouch for them beyond that.
@Aquin15 All of the seeds currently still on the plants from last year have been exposed to multiple freeze events and so they are almost all certainly non-viable, except perhaps some of the OGR types of the Gallicanae classes. (Those tend to survive freezing) However, I doubt you are interested in those, as they are all once-blooming types.

Hello there, regarding the Old Garden Roses, I would not mind one bit to buy them from you if it’s possible! (I mainly want to get my foot into growing roses, so I feel like anything would be a great start!) Do they happen to be rare in quality (meaning If I possibly mess it up due to my inexperience, will it result in a big value (plant wise) being lost? or are those types of roses common to grow)?
Renee’s Garden also seems to sell “Angel Wings” seed packets for ~$5 a packet plus ~$6 shipping.
I buy seed packets from them locally because some grocery stores near me stock their seeds, along with the usual Ferry Morse and Burpee brand seeds.
I don’t think I’ve found Angel Wings in person (because I would’ve purchased them), but apparently you can also order their seed packets online.
Until I go out to the “garden” to see what still has last year’s seed hips on them, I am unsure what might still be there. None of it will be “rare” or especially valuable. I am happy to send you seeds for the cost of postage — I don’t sell seeds, especially not random collected seed from the garden. I’ll go see what’s available (and worth growing).
