Hi @roseral my hybridization efforts are slow going, as I don’t have the optimal set up. However, I have Juliet plant material which I am trying to root now that the patent is up! I am hoping to use it as a seed parent with other more hardy roses. From what I understand, the roses which are grown in South America for the floral trade, such as Juliet, might be more tender or difficult in some sense. I’d like to see this flower evolve into something I can grow in my zone 7 climate. Also looking to progress the color, as I’m mostly fond of the form but apricot isn’t always appropriate for arranging.
Have you noticed if you can collect pollen off of them? I would probably go that route in case the cuttings don’t strike.
