Abstract: “The article focuses on Jeffries Nurseries Ltd. in Portage la Prairie in Manitoba’s evaluation of the roses bred by the Bailey Nurseries Inc. based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The number one criterion that will determine whether an Easy Elegance rose will be recommended for the Canadian Prairies is cold hardiness. The test showed that the Bailey selections had superior disease resistance and better growing vigour.”
