Has anyone used this one in breeding?
I love its flowers, but don’t own one, yet.
Also, I wonder if golden celebration features in its breeding line?
The parentage of these two siblings is ‘Rose de Resht’ x ‘Summer Song’. Both have blooms in flushes throughout the season and very strong fragrance. But they are pretty different in many characteristics like size, bloom size, habitus, scent and fertility.
The darker one, in this case picture 2, resembles clearly ‘Rose de Resht’, especially in view oft the short stalked flowers. It is small and compact, while the other one is more similar to a shrub of an English Rose.

Im in south carolina and summer song was not disease resistant here and died because of it. It may be worth while if you’re not in a wet environment.
beautiful seedlings! Glad to see repeat from Rose de Resht. Also glad to see Summer Songs pollen can produce beautiful offspring.
