I have only seen this used as a pollen parent, so does that indicate that it doesn’t make good seed? This is my first striped rose although I have always enjoyed them in other gardens.
Actually, I don’t really know what I have. Bought it really cheap, a nearly dying potted mini during the winter. What really attracted me was its’ thornlessness and thought that it could be a useful breeding plant. With some loving care, the bush finially produced its’ first flower. A striped rose, slightly less an inch fully open with 10 petals. Informal form. Foilage is glossy, and disease free when I bought it in its’ neglectful state. Do I have Stars n’ Stripes, or maybe another rose.
