'Ross Rambler' article

For anyone interested in the breeding history of the Canadian ‘Ross Rambler’ rose (Rosa beggeriana selection), I have written an article on it for the next edition of the Rosebank Letter. The publication will be in the mail within a couple of weeks. ‘Ross Rambler’ is in the pedigree of ‘Prairie Dawn’ introduced by the Morden Research Station in 1959 and still a popular rose grown on the Canadian prairies. The breeding work with ‘Ross Rambler’ is an example of the positive results that can happen by breeding with a species rose.
