Rose Perfume

Several years ago, while I was webmaster for the International Bulb Society, a woman in Spain asked me to find a Spanish source for saffron crocus corms. I tried to find one, but wasn’t able to help. However, while searching I found a web site with loads of info on fragrances of all kinds. This is the site that first led me to Eugster & Marki-Fischer.

The site is not very well organized, so it may take some time to find the really interesting bits. Here are a couple.

Common Carotenoid Degradation Products Found in Plants

Rose (Rosa damascena)

For anyone who has trouble finding specific information on a web page, first go to www.google.com

In the search window type site:www.leffingwell.com saffron

That example will lead you to all the pages on the www.leffingwell.com site that contain the word saffron.

Of course, you can use different search terms and search other sites.
