Rose “New Dawn” seedlings. I wanted to see its possibilities in the fourth climate zone. It sets fruit well, but they often do not have time to ripen. However, one by one they germinate. Here are one-year-old seedlings, planted last year. The first two photos are R.“New Dawn” x Estonian rose “Tibiroos” and R.“Conrad Ferdinand Meyer”. The next three photos are R.“New Dawn” x R.“Minette”. It second that it will bloom a second time, because the first one has already put out new stems and is blooming for the second time, the other one is also not finisched bloomed.

Very nice! Good form and I assume hardy? How is their disease resistance?

Thank you. Their resilience seems similar to that of their parent rose, ‘New Dawn’—there are some yellowing leaves and a few spots. Besides, the seedlings are planted close together, which doesn’t help matters. Furthermore, there were heavy rains at first, followed by the heatwave that blanketed all of Europe, so the plants were more sensitive to these conditions. They are growing under natural conditions, without any chemical protection.
