Rosa nana multiflora perpetual

Another name for these roses is “Lawrenceanas” that were sold by Leonard Lille seed firm at Lyon France as well as another selection more early polyantha like named “Plate Bande”.

Roulettii var probable origin is a nice plant selected and preserved from Lawrenceana seeds. Lyon is close to Swiss.

I’ve been under the assumption that these are the same roses or interrelated with the Angel Rose mix polyanthas that Thompson and Morgan and also Renae seeds sells. I really love them and they are in the background of a lot of my polyantha breeding. Does someone know if they are not the same group of roses and are significantly different?

Probably the same. Angel Roses are now a Benary speciality. A german perennial seed firm whose seeds have a small amount of blue painted ones. In a few monthes one can get a nice flowering little pot plant.
