My Rosa moyesii is completely thornless. The only hybrid that I have from this is also thornless so it passes down the thornlessness. Most likely these are selflings although there is a small possibility that the pollen parent is my F1 Eddies Jewel x Persian Peach which is nearby and was in bloom at the same time. I just harvested these today and haven’t cleaned them yet so don’t know how many seeds there are but not a lot as there are only a dozen hips.
