Rosa centifolia

Hello everyone!

We have a visiting scientist that is interested in studying the diversity of R. centifolia that is found in the U.S.

He will be comparing it to R. centifolia that is found in other countries (mostly Iraq/Iran/Pakistan…etc).

We are hoping there a several generous participants located on the forum that would be willing to send us tissue. Yep! That’s all we need, just tissue. Preferably, very young (unexpanded) leaf tissue.

See…we don’t even need a whole plant! That way, you won’t have to worry about sacrificing that beautiful plant from your yard! And, you’ll be helping out a young ‘budding’ scientist with his studies while he his here!

Please contact me by PM, email or calling the lab phone.

My work email is n-anderson@tamu.edu

If you contact me via email, but I do not respond…the university system may have decided that your email is spam and decided to delete it for me…(frown)… So, you may have to use another method until I can put your email in the system!

Lab phone is 979-845-9500. Please leave a message, I am generally NOT near the phone

Thanks so much!
