Received my Rose Hybridizer’s Hat in the mail yesterday. I would like to compliment whoever did the design, I love it; a rose vine with red hips in the shape of a question mark that surrounds a blue rose. Fantastic!!

Some interesting reading when going back and looking at all the newsletters on the CD. The RHA announced a contest in the Fall 76 issue of the newsletter for a new design for the letterhead. The prize for the best design was to be a free two-year RHA membership. The winner was Jack Lissemore and the lettering by Mrs. Marjorie Edwards, and it appeared for the first time on the cover of the Spring 77 issue.
The questionable search for the elusive blue rose has been evident from the beginning, and from all indications - it still is!
