Another seedling to bloom that I hope to use for its disease resistance and hardiness. Light pink with 8 petals. Quadra has such interesting parentage that I’m excited about using this one in future crosses.
Cherry Sunblaze turned out to be very useful as a pollen parent last season.

Possibly. Some of the Kordes’ kordesii hybrids have a large enough dose of polyantha in them for dwarfing. I know Dortmund does.
This one is much smaller in stature than any other seedling so I’m not sure if it’s a miniature or a micro mini. I didn’t know about the large doses of polyantha in the kordesii line of hybrids. Will have to research that. thank you michael.
Even Rosarium Utersen has some coral overtones, which more than implies the pelargonidin/polyantha connection due to the era these hybrids were all created. Also, without pelargonidin, I doubt some of the reds created would have been as red as they are. We do know that Montezuma and Our Princess was used in two of the Kordes’ hybrids, but that is about all we know.
