Ploidy of Hazeldean, Prairie Peace, and R15

I am doing some chromosome counts this afternoon and learned:

Hazeldean and R15 are both triploid and Prairie Peace is tetraploid. Both R15 and Prairie Peace are offspring of Hazeldean used as a male.

That might be why R15 and it’s offspring are reluctant seed parents.
