I’m hoping someone can help ID this climbing rose in Zimbabwe. It was purchased as ‘Boule de Neige,’ but I don’t think this ID is correct. It is a strong climbing rose that is appx. 5 metres and doesn’t seem to fit the description of ‘Boule de Neige’ as a shrub.
The flowers are white/creamy white with a moderate to strong fragrance, floral with spicy/clove.
I thought it could perhaps be ‘Wedding Garland’?

It does look wedding garland and the size seems right. As far as I know wedding garland sprouts from old wood as it is a descendant of iceberg, does your plant sprout from old wood?
Yes it does shoot from old wood .. I’m thinking it is wedding garland. I don’t think there are any others similar available in the region?
From what I can see here over in ZA it seems to be the only match that I can find. There is a chance that it could be a heritage rose of some sort that got mislabeled in the process, but I think there is a good chance it’s wedding garland.
