Pimpinellifoliae assistance needed

About two years ago we began a quest to gather as many Pimpinellifoliae roses (as defined by Roy Shepherd in chapter 9 of his book) as was possible to get. We have pretty well exhausted US and Canadian commercial sources and have begun importing from Europe. But importing is never a sure thing, I had one shipment delayed when I finally received it all the roses in it were dead. So if possible I would like to find US sources for as many Pimpinellifoliae as possible. Below is a list of the Pimpinellifoliae roses we currently have. If anyone knows of any US source for any Pimpinellifoliae not on the list I would really appreciate knowing about the source. Here is our current list:

I would really appreciate your assistance in this endeavor. Obviously many of the roses on the list, including almost all the Canadian Pimpinellifoliae were not obtained from commercial sources but from friends (one in particular) who kindly dug up suckers from their gardens. There support has been critical in putting together our collection.

.

Leonard, I don’t have any of these, but I have Dorian, which I breed. It’s blooming, and it’s pretty darn nice. It suckers, and you can have one if you like. I’ve been trying to find people who want to have, thereby preserving my small place in the world.

Thank you, I would love to have Dorian. Contact me at lerosier3@yahoo.com

Leonard, I might be able to get a sucker from Beauty of Leafland for you.

-Steve

Steve - that would be fantastic!!!

Steve - My mistake!!! The roses on the list are the roses I have not the roses I need. I have Beauty of Leafland, it is Beauty of Dropmore that I need. Thanks.
