Orange yellow pigment inheritance

I’m in over my head in asking this, so forgive me…

Looking at the pedigree of “Ring of Fire" [ 'Ring of Fire ™' Rose ], a rich orange rose with strong yellows running pretty far back in its family tree, I wondered about expected results from its use in hybridizing. Would the yellow carotenoids prevail? Is the orange of R.o.F. likely from carotenoids with a pink (anthocyanin?) overwash? Would offspring likely carry the pink forward to the next generation? (I seem to presume pink is the dominant color that stains everything if it can!)

What about other “orangish" roses like Cl. America? Not that it is on my list of prospective parents, but its pedigree does not suggest a similar blend of pigments, and it feels like it would not fit harmoniously among other orange roses, so might it be that its hue is pelargonodin-related?

(I had found a scientific article (over my head) that explained a good many pigments and how they influenced colors and mutable color synthesis, but can’t seem to find it again.)

Ah ha… Here is the article, but I am realizing I will need to be more awake to wade through it:
