[attachment 1426 15i13jpurp1.jpg] (Baronne Ed Rothschild X Mme C Testou) X Ophelia this colour supprised me from matching these two up. Seedling is still quite small, I am expecting the bloom quality to improve as the seedling becomes older and stronger.

[attachment 1428 18i15j2.jpg] The stigmas have been converted to vegetative matter and it does not seem to have many anthers, maybe a dead end rose cultivar.
Thatās an interesting combinationāIāve been trying to think of something to use on āLe Vesuveā myself, since itās one of the better-performing roses here. Did you get any other seedlings from that cross?
Stefan
Stefan , I only got it in last year and it took a while to stabilize from being bare rooted. I only did this cross.
[attachment 1433 14i38j1.jpg]bloom structure is basic but its the colour I am after (Sutters Gold X Angele Pernet)

Love the color on the (Sutters Gold X Angele Pernet) seedling.
Sutters Gold X Angele Pernet reminds me of both Colette Clement and Flame of Love.
I think it would create something of interest if crossed with Old Port, Charles De Gaulle mauve types. Or cross it with Loverboy and Hyperglow.
This is off this topic, but as I looked at it and had the entire post listings at the top and bottom of this thread, so my question is has anyone else had it or is just me. It is not happening to other threads.
its looks like it has been corrupted in some way.
For what its worth, Livin Easy can produce Pernet-like colors, likely because its loaded with Allgold and many other random Pernet-bicolors. My Ebb Tide x Livin Easy is pretty much purple with an burnt orange glimmer towards the center, which I dont think would be possible with the Pernet lines. In other words, some of the modern types could be a good bridge with the older Pernet types that have their special issues.
Livin Easy has those Pernet looking colours and by looking at its offspring those colours are transferred quite easily to what ever its crossed with. Its bloom structure seems to be quite a strong trait as well. With modern roses of today, people are so aware when breeding for vigour and health , that a lot, if reseached properly, can bridge these old timers from the past and recreate them in their full glory.

Warren is it or has it happened to you
Dave I donāt really know whats happened, looks like its corrupted to me. Maybe ADMIN will have to see whats going on.
The files are showing up on all the threads here and now on the top and the bottom.
Neil
It seems strange , when you look at the names through out this topic which have interacted and then look at the names in the corrupted sections top and bottom, very strange indeed. Should I be looking over my shoulder LOL.
Warren I just wanted to let you know I have really enjoyed reading this thread on your many crosses. Itās very exciting to see all the lovely combinations⦠I read coversations on this sight and then jump up and check my seedlings again to see if they have grown an inch. (this happens at least a few times a day)
