The form and coloration is absolutely magnificent! The blooms look very large.
It would be interesting to know how cane hardy it is in zone 4 and 5, though I don’t think hardiness is as much an issue if it’s recurrent in those zones.
Surprisingly enough, Morden Sunrise is not all that hardy in my climate, and much more tender than Lambert Closse. I have to prune MS quite low in spring. So I’m thankful for its capacity to flower on new growth, otherwise; it would have been a problem. I have some seedlings from Morden Sunrise pollen x Gallicas & Portland roses. We’ll see what happens.
