Mini rose bought in France – Looking for help with identification

Hello everyone!

I’m very happy to join this forum. My name is Nick and I live in the South-West of France. I’ve loved roses for a long time, and for years I’ve dreamed of hybridizing them. This year, I finally decided to give it a try!

I’ve started working with landscape roses, because of their great disease resistance in our climate here. My first attempt is with open-pollinated seeds from The Fairy. I was excited to see that seven seedlings have germinated, which is a great way for me to practice germination and get started.

Also, I recently bought a rose in a garden center here in France. It’s a lovely plant, but unfortunately, it was not properly labeled, and I’m trying to identify it. I’ll post some photos below—if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would really appreciate your help!

Looking forward to learning from all of you and sharing this passion for roses.

Welcome, Nicholas! Hopefully, one of our European members can shed some information about the identity of your mini. You’ll see roses in France we’ll never see here in the US.

Good evening, everyone,
I believe I have identified this rose: Firebird Kordana (KORpot088).
See the details here.
