looking for a white rose to name after a 9/11 hero

I am looking for a white rose to be named after a 9/11 hero. This man

was responsible for getting all by 7 of Morgan Stanley employees out of

the building-over 2,500 employees got out because of his training them

for an emergency. He was head of security for Morgan Stanley. He was

raised in Cornwall Englandand and the White Rose of Cornwall was very

important to him and his wife, Susan.

What do I do to begin getting a white rose named for him?

Thanks for your help.

Susan Sullivan

Steve has a white hybrid tea with pink edge available for naming.

Their catalog says, “If you have an intetest in immortalizingan individual or family in your community, we will gladly consider naming a rose in their honor. Please contact us for details and costs.”

Hi Susan,

Maybe Brad Jalbert has a white rose not on his website that is ready for naming.

I would think about the kind of rose you are looking for too. Do you want a traditional hybrid tea that often needs to be sprayed preventably for disease and winter protected in colder climates, or a shrub rose that would be easier to grow, but often has nice blooms that are less typical of large flowered florist roses.

Sincerely,

David
