HI all. I have a Kordes Folklore and was thinking of using it as both a seed and pollen parent. My Folklore has never set a hip so am wondering how good it is a parent. The thought is to cross it with Papa Meiland, Black Magic, Black Velvet and maybe even RSL. All these are Australian rose names.
Oh I forgot, Im in Astralia.
Looking at HMF it seems to have a decent number of offspring and it’s used as the seed parent for the vast majority of them so I think you’ll have a good chance! It’s also the child of a rose called Fragrant Cloud which is renowned for its fertility so I think it’ll be fine
