JAR EMBRYO CULTURE.....NUANCES AND NEW DISCOVERIES.

I think I have pretty much finished all I wanted to achieve with embryo jar culture, but who knows?

UPDATE… the 4-cotyledon ‘Flower Carpet-white’ seedling featured above died 24hrs ago, its sister control embryo is fine, as are all the other embryos of the "Flower Carpet-white’x OP that were germinated using the same modified short jar culturing I described further up here.

I am thinking that the 4-cotyledon feature has some negative correlation with seedling vigor. This idea has of course also been alluded to by others who are more experienced than me in rose breeding, here on this forum.
