Hi
Can anyone tell me if the rose registration site is still active?
I have tried to mail about a rose registration, but haven’t got any reply from roseynut. Today I have then tried to mail to the other ars-hq.org email, but got the reply that my mail is not delivered as mailfolder is full!
I hope some of you have some informations about the site, as it seems impossible to get any contact with them.
Best Regards

Bo, I just checked the site (link below). I didn’t try to register anything, but was able to access the site. Your luck at getting personal responses is another matter. The mailbox may be full because of the weekend, and/or you may be having trouble getting a response from Marily because she may be traveling.

Yes Peter the link/site works fine, but it is not easy to get thorugh via any of the 2 e-mail accounts.
Do you know how long it normally takes to get a rose registrated?
I have submitted a registration in june 2010 and it is still pending in the system.
Regards
Bo
Hi Bo,
It’s possible that the registration was delayed because they had a question about your registration. They held up one of my registrations recently because I refused to use “red blend” as the color description for a red and white striped rose. I think the registration options need to be updated to deal with the newer rose types that are coming out - moss, stripes, cresteds, and Hulthemias. The old system doesn’t differentiate roses well enough.

Thanks for the info Jim.
I will take another look at my registration. Perhaps I have miss out on something.

Bo,
I submitted a registration about 6 weeks ago and it was accepted and approved about 10 days ago. So, Marily is clearly at work in the background.
I would suggest you email Phil Schorr to inquire about the status of your registration, Bo. If you need his email address, then write to me in private:
