Is Rose Rosette transmitted through seeds?

In Pennsylvania, it is now difficult to find Rosa Multiflora colonies that are not at least partially infected with this virus. I know Rose Mosaic is not transmitted through seed so I am really hoping the same is true for Rose Rosette.

RMV has been shown to be passed on to seedlings on occasion, but it is rare.

Thanks for the information Paul. I found a thread from gardenweb.com that refers to Rose Rosette. Unfortunately, I don’t know who they are and if the information is credible.
