I read that Ipsilante is one of if not the most disease resistance gallicas. As a result I purchased it for breeding. Has anyone had any good experiences as a mother or for what I hoped for, a the pollen parent?

Thought I would simplify this to… Does anyone know if this produces good quantities of pollen?
I can only say that there are NO descendants listed on HMF, and for a rose that has been extant for more than 200 years…the odds are not in your favor. Enjoy it as the beautiful rose it is.

Several years ago, I purchased Madame Hardy, with the intent of breeding…until I discovered firsthand that she has neither anthers nor stigmas.
