Does anyone have a list of OGR’s and shrubs that are good pollen or seed parents?

What kinds of OGRs are you interested in? Based on MR11, a few good parents are Adam, G

A ton of shrub roses are good for both. Golden Wings and Erfurt are very fertile for me, though. Not to mention they set extremely large hips.

Annie,

First we need to determine where you are going to grow your parent roses: there is absolutely no point in suggesting ‘Reve d’Or’ (or any tender varieties) if you are in Michigan! Also, what kind of results are you looking for? Color goals, remontancy (or not)? Shrub size? Anything you can tell us to help narrow your list of requirements and goals will be helpful.
