Now there’s one I’ll be interested in seeing. I enjoy speculating – flower form like Dornroschen? Playboy? Knockout? Crimson or scarlet blooms?
I hadn’t realized that Baby Love was in the lineage of Home Run before now…

I’m guessing I’ll get red. There is plenty of red behind “Lyn Griffith” but there is yellow too.
As you can see anything is possible.
I think there will be some fascinating stuff coming out of 77-361.
One of my more promising crosses germinated today, a late Christmas gift.
Riverbanks X Home Run
This is an interesting cross. It combines the genes of R. californica and R. banksia with those of R. davidii elongata, and some of the best of the most modern disease resistance cultivars.
I suspect it will produce a very unique, disease resistant, moderately sized shrub rose, assuming it lives.
Robert, that looks like a seedling to watch - extra closely!
