Help in identification: a pink polyantha

What’s the name of this variety? It is a short, erect, rebloom polyantha, with large panicles of small, semi-double, pink flowers. It is widely grown in some old public gardens in Shanghai, China, so I think it might be a popular old variety. Good resistant to blackspot.

This looks promising to me.

Thanks for your suggestion. However ‘China 65’ is single but the one I found is semi-double. According to HMF, ‘China 65’ is a good variety, I first heard it in a Japanese book. What a pity that I never found or even heard about it in China, even this variety is older than me!

I also found another variety in the similar scenario, it looks like the one shown in the photo (I don’t know whether they are the same variety), but the flowers fade to almost white. Now it’s difficult to find them.

I skimmed through those parameters on HMF and saw that many of the roses that looked similar to your photos were sports or 1st gen descendants of the Orléans Rose. Which itself looks quite similar to your pictures to my untrained eye. It was very popular and widely distributed in Europe around the time of British rule in Shanghai.

So maybe the Orléans Rose, or a relative?
