This one is a complex hybrid including kordesii, gallica, centifolia, spinosissima and laxa. Rose is (L83 x Pikkalan kaunotar) × Suzanne (2022). Strong scent, vigor, healthy and good winter hardiness.

Is it repeat-flowering?

Based on the parents, no, but possibly a little late blooming in the fall, like spinosissima roses.

Two year old rugosa Kirovsk x Cape Diamond. A healthy and strong seedling that survived the winter well here in northern Finland. Shiny leaves.

The two-year-old offspring of the cross between rugosa Kirovsk x blanda Herttoniemi blooms for the first time. The flowers are smaller than their parents, but the size can still change when the rose grows bigger. Flowers are fragrant. The seedling is healthy and didn’t suffer at all from last winter here in Northern Finland.

Spinosissima altaica var. Grandiflora x Prairie Peace (2021). Last year strawberry blossom weevils destroyed the buds, so I had to wait another year to see the flowers.
