My embryo’s root tips seem to become black after growing about 5mm. Could it be because the baggie is too humid, or is it just a genetic thing?
The condensation seems to be too heavy, which causes the embryos to rot or become infected. My experience has shown that excessive humidity in the bag has a very detrimental effect and usually prevents germination. It’s hard to tell, but the paper towel could be not twisted enough or the layer might be too thick. This allows it to absorb more liquid, which is then released into the surrounding area.
