Could anyone provide me with directions, or point me to a source, on how to rescue embryos from achenes that don’t germinate per usual methods? I’ve read bits and pieces here about using vermiculite as the culture medium which interests me more than using the agar, or similar type medium. I’m hoping for detailed instructions that discuss everything from the removal process up to ‘sowing’ the embryos. Thank you in advance.
