Distinctive burgundy new foliage

I have a nice emerging line from an old David Austin variety named ‘Ann.’ So far seedlings have been very resistant to the disease problems that are prevalent here in central GA. A second generation seedling is currently breaking dormancy and has eye-catching burgundy new foliage. Compared to surrounding young plants it is quite distinctive. Yea spring!

Lovely! Congratulations, Stephen!

Nice when a seedling has several attractive features!
