It’s listed as a hybrid rugosa. Does anyone know what the other parent is? Anyone have experience with it? As a seed parent, is it as fertile as Hansa?
Dart’s Dash looks and behaves like a straight hybrid rugosa to me- no obvious characteristics of anything but rugosa in it. It’s rock hardy and quite disease resistant. As long as it and Hansa do not share both of their self-incompatibility alleles, I’d expect the cross would be quite fertile.
