Curios if there is a link between certain roses with low fertility and low Boron levels

Recently i have been researching into overall aspects of soil, while i was learning about Boron i read that it is essential for overall reproduction and having it around ‘luxury’ levels in the plant can increase pollen, fertility and seed set, boron in soil can can easily be locked up by excess calcium, so while it may be present in sufficient levels in the soil, the levels in the plant may be on the lower side.

A example given was a foliar spray of Boron on avocados before flower increases the amount of flowers actually setting fruit.

Realistically i do not seeing this being a ‘magic’ solution, but i could not help but wonder if this could help with roses with low fertility or even even possibly increase the productivity of fertile roses.

Thoughts and opinions would be appreciated.
