Best Rootstock for Grafting/Budding

The FPS at UC Davis offers the following rootstock:

  • Burr Multiflora
    De la Grifferaie
    Dr. Huey
    Fortuniana
    IXL
    Manettii
    Natal Briar
    Odorata

Of those of you guys that practice budding, which rootstock, in your experience, is the ‘slipperiest?’ That is, easiest to work with?

I don’t do any grafting, but I do collect reports from those who do.
