‘Golden Angel X Soulieana’ is GORGEOUS. Wow that’s a cool plant.
That it is! Now, to get one…again. He also had a Golden Angel X Kordesii which I grew quite a few years ago, but which seems to be lost. Repeat, semi double pink (what else?).
Where in the world is Golden Angel x Souliana available at? They’re like powderpuffs.
I’ve been deciding to possibly focus on crossing my favorites polythana/musk/mini types with the Knockout Clan, that could be a good one to try to use maybe?
No where. It grows in the San Jose Heritage. They’re propagating one for the Sacramento Cemetery (I hope). Pamela Temple has it at Red Rose Ridge. Perhaps TAMU has it?

In looking up Golden Angel, I came across Moore’s cross with Californica nana. This seedling 'Golden Angelcalnana' Rose is also remontant.
Is Ralph’s clone of R.s. readily available? R. soulieana is on my short list of species, particularly Synstylae that I’ve hoped to be able to play with down the line. The idea of getting remontancy in one cross, possibly, makes it a heckuva lot more intriguing.
And, seeing GA x R.s. has me drooling and fantasizing about possibilities…
