Hi everyone,
Has anyone used any of these roses as pod parents? If so, what are your experiences with them?
Nicole – floribunda
Softee – miniature (Paulb, I think I remember seeing this on your site. How is the germination rate?)
Thanks,
Shane

Softee does set seed, although reluctantly. It depends to a great extent on the pollen parents used. What seed it does produce is fairly easy to germinate. The offspring tend to be pinks, whites and pale yellows, and they often resemble Noisettes in growth habit.

Thanks Paul!
Shane, it is now possible to go to HelpMeFind.com and enter any rose to see if it has any registered offspring as either a seed parent or a pollen parent.
