Aline Rosey, Schwarz, and something wonderful with a new noisette

It doesn’t always take a picture for a rose to enchant me.

The link below is to a description of a new noisette with Angel Face like color and significant fragrance in the San Jose Heritage Rose garden. ( I do trust the poster’s descriptions.)

Does anyone know Schwarz and what other wonderful things this hybridizer might be doing?

Blush.

Never mind.

Turns out the rose was introduced in 1884, so that may explain why the hybridizer isn’t in RHA.

Oh darn. You beat me to it…

What wonderful things is this hybridizer doing?

“Schwartz is busily decomposing.”

A rather prolific family of French breeders. Mme Alfred Carriere and Reine Victoria were among their better known crosses.
