I made this cross of Julia Child X Heritage in 2007. Every so often it will throw a long cane that branches at the top. Last fall I took this cutting and it rooted quite easily. The cane is 10 inches from soil to branches. I have another long cane with branching on the top that I plan to root this fall. I don’t know what roses are used in the trade to graft onto for tree roses. This is not one I would necessarily keep but it does smell nice and it appears to be rather novel. The working name is Kissenspitzen (lace pillow).
