There are R. arkansanas all over my garden. Some were here before I was, some I brought here, some are seedlings that just volunteered themselves. I always let the volunteer seedlings grow because you never know…

Well, today, this bloomed. I can’t wait to see if the other flowers are like it! Palest, palest pink on the edges, slight scent, and so beautiful! Oooo! Want more!

I love it! If they do turn out also that way you can probably do crosses and then back cross to really bring the trait out. Is it just the photo or does it seem a little lavender.

Nice frills. I like the leaf color as well.

Pretty! I like unusual roses, frills are definitely not seen too often…
