The first ripe rose hip this year is also my first rose hip from one of my own crosses, (R. blanda x Basye’s Legacy). Thanks @KDickinson for the Basye’s Legacy pollen.
What’s really nice is opening my first hybridized hip to discover 32 seeds inside! I know this won’t be typical but feels good.
